Glynis Ablon, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist with three decades of experience in medical, surgical, and aesthetic dermatology. A native Californian, she earned her medical degree from George Washington University, completed an internal medicine fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and trained in dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine. She is an Associate Clinical Professor at UCLA and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Hair Research Society.

In 2008, Dr. Ablon founded the Ablon Skin Institute and Research Center in Manhattan Beach, California, an independent clinical research site that has run more than 60 aesthetic and medical trials spanning skin care, lasers, dermal fillers, and botulinum toxins. The first published author on mesotherapy in the United States, she has written more than 60 medical articles and three books, received the 2010 IMCAS Research Award for her botulinum toxin research, and appears as an on-camera medical expert on The Doctors, ABC, CBS, NBC, and E! Entertainment.
